You would think that once you shared your prospects or dreams with other people, they should just hop right into the bus and get in on your idea right? Well, not so fast, because, there are a lot of people who are kill-joys out there, and their preoccupation is to tell you what you can, and cannot do. Don’t let them.
You see, I am an ardent believer that no one was ever born empty. We were all born with unique gifts which can be used to make this world better, and that includes the power of our imagination.
Our minds are a repository of ideas, which have the potentials to give us that dream life that we have always wanted. Unfortunately however, there are people out there who would do all it takes to make sure that never happens.
These are people who would work day and night to tell you, “You are not good enough.” They are the ones that would say, “You can never get anything right.” They also belong to the group that would say, “it’s impossible for you to achieve A, B or C.” Yet, these same people are the ones that would say, “you can never become successful”, due to their near sighted wrongly-held perceptions of you. My advice? Ignore them.

You can actually go ahead to create your ‘DREAM’ life if you choose, but the choice begins and ends with you. If living the dream is anything you are interested in achieving, then you must be ready to take practical steps to make things happen for you:
- You must believe in yourself, even if you are the only one that does so. Disregard every other contrary opinion of you, because your life is yours, and yours alone to live.
- Believe you can achieve anything, and you are already half way there.
- Define your dream. What is it that you see, that other people cannot see? Give shape and form to that dream, outline it properly that it becomes very clear to you and you alone.
- Do what you need to do today, to get you to that place that you need to be tomorrow. Get that education, certification, training, etc. Whatever it is that you need to take care of on your part, get it done.
Remember, success may not happen overnight, but give it some time. As long as you have a clear defined vision of where you are headed, success would happen for you. But, you must be willing to stay focused, motivated and energized to keep pressing, before you hit the goal.
One more thing, do not wait for others to motivate you before you do the needful. Some people are waiting for others to push them to do what is actually best for their lives. Don’t be that way! You have the power and ability to motivate yourself. And with the vast amount of potentials resident in your creative mind, I can only affirm that the sky indeed is your starting point. Go create the life of your dreams!
To your continued success. Cheers!!!
